  2. Dear Oriana(Mrs Nav),

I live in London and I bought your book Girlvert through amazon.uk a couple of days ago. I generally read all kinds of books but am most interesting in Anthropology kind. I am originally from South East Asia and I am fascinated with cultures and people different from my own. I am also totally fascinated with the life and people of the USA. As I read the book, I was so captivated by your story that I stayed very late for 2 nights to have finished reading it. It is a superb reading-I would say it is one of the best books I have ever read. Your writing style is so refreshing and is somehow quite calm-you tell the very difficult story in cool way. And you don’t lose that calmness through the end. Yet your writing is so powerful in your unpretentious and honest way that the reader is pulled violently straight into your story. It will surely take me some time to get out of it again. But your book will go living on my memory as an important work of such a brave and remarkable artist whom ,Buddhist-ly speaking, has a lot in common (being born, getting old, momentary pleasures and pains, sickness and death) with me. Thank you.
